Graduation...

My Korean language class is finally over! The classes ended last weekend... It was so much fun I actually bought another Korean language book immediately after our graduation. ^__^

My First Gachapons - Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan

I did mention how much of a fangirl I became while I was playing Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan on my 3DS, right? I even pre-ordered some gachapons online last October because there were no Nendoroids for Hakuouki T^T. The Hakuouki gachapons are the only figures I have that are not Nendoroids. If they release Nendoroids for Hakuouki, I would probably buy Saito, Sano, and Hijikata.

Kirino was excited too!

Nendoroid: Ui is Spazzing Out

I recently discovered that the Sylvanian Families sets were a better match for Nendoroids than Re-ment. I love Re-ment because of their food miniatures but I was always frustrated about the scale of their furnitures.

It never really crossed my mind to use the Sylvanian Family sets I impulsively bought last year until I saw pictures kixkillradio and Nodoka. They have so many gorgeous pictures and kixkillradio shares how she sets up her photos. Her blog is totally worth a visit!

I decided to try it out and I was really happy with the outcome. Unfortunately, I couldn't really go all out and set up an elaborate room since I had little time. Next time, I'll take better shots.

"Muwahahahaha.... MUWAHAHAHAHA!"
I have never been so attached to bunch of pixels in my whole life~! Until I started playing Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan on my 3DS...

I love Otome games/girly visual novels but the Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan game is different from all the other visual novels I've played.

Nendoroid: Hoshikuzu Witch Meruru

Mee~ru merumeru meru meru meru me~!

She finally arrived! I waited for her for so long and it's totally worth it! I actually got her last week but was too busy so I only got to open her today. >_<

Kirino is waiting!

Nendoroid Sakura Shinguji

She's here!!!! I'm so happy I pre-ordered her. I had to buy her since I loved the anime so much and I can never forget the 2nd ending song of the Anime~ Kanna is so cute!!!

It's been a while since I posted about nendoroids huh? I was supposed to sell my previous nendoroids until I saw Sakura... it's such a classic anime that I couldn't resist buying her >_<

I hope they release more Sakura Taisen Nendoroids, if there's a Nendo version of Kanna or Sumire, I would definitely buy it.. both =_=. Kanna is actually my fave character from the series but Sakura is the lead so I had to buy her *cough* *trying to justify the expense* *cough*

Out of the Box

"Literally" out of the box.

Last night I was so frustrated. I couldn't find a perfect Nendoroid display case. I would've bought it from ebay if there were display cases available but they were our of stock. I remembered I was able to buy a make-shift display case in Daiso so I decided to pay Daiso near my place. I couldn't find the display cases I wanted from daiso but I was able to find super cute bottles for 88 PHP (approx. 2 USD).

Muwahahahaha~!

Miku and Ui look so lost! Waaaa so cute~! Saber is trying to escape! Hahahaha~! The nendoroids with weird/cute faces would look perfect in the bottles... unfortunately Kirino looks out of place T^T

I only have 5 nendoroids in my collection so far but I don't think I'd buy more of these bottles if I had more nendoroids. I can't stack them because of the lids and the bottom. But hey, they look so cute!!! *Kirino Face*

Kirino Kousaka Acquired!

I was finally able to get my hands on her, thank you tiniks!!!

*She's here!!!!*

Weeee~! I tried not to open the box at work... but I couldn't help it!

Look at all those parts~ <3

I tried to put her on display at my workstation but I was scared someone would take her

I call this her "Kilig" face (giddy)

Need to let everyone know I got her!

Done texting! She's not an exact copy of how she looks in the anime.. see below:

But look! Kyaaa~!

Edit.. Additional info:
Nendoroid Kirino Kousaka is from the anime series Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai.

She is the younger of two siblings of the Kousaka family, and is the overachiever of the two. However, she keeps a secret to her family - that she is an avid otaku and a fan of adult-rated games, especially those involving brother-sister dynamics.

Here are some random pix I wanted to share:

Personal Nendoroid Checklist

Since I had nothing better to do in the office, I created a personal nendoroid checklist in an excel workbook. It's easier for me to maintain. If I change my mind, I can easily change my checklist!

Here's the unfilled version (click to enlarge)

Here's the filled up one as of March 2011 (click to enlarge)

I only have 3 nendoroids and I want a whole lot...

UPDATE~!!

Shopping ban temporarily lifted = Ui Hirasawa

When my boyfriend saw Melissa Seraphy's Devil version, he said I can buy her, BUT I decided not to.. Since her face plates are exclusive only to her and her other version.

SO... I bought the first nendoroid I saw that was on my wishlist~ and I saw Ui! Well, I almost bought the Black Rock Shooter nendo.. If I knew you could remove both her flames, I would've bought her first.. but Ui is still 2nd on my list!

I tried to take some pictures at least of all parts and accessories included in the box~

I guess it's time for another amateur review, this time for Nendoroid 121: Saber Super Movable

(Bear with me for now, since this is the first time I'll be posting my pix through flickr... still don't know how..)

Anyway, Saber super movable was my top priority on my wish list and despite my 6 month shopping ban, I couldn't resist buying her.

Sorry for the bad lighting...

This is her with her normal face

With my super favorite face... actually (Former favorite face, you'll see why)

This is the default face you get when she's in the box, she's a little dirty...

errr.. based on how I choose my nendoroids, I still don't know what to do with this

Of course, everyone's favorite face

She hates it in the box~

I compared Saber's face (left) to Miku's face (Right), should they have different colors?

I was surprised that the sides of her hair were soft and rubbery... I thought she was a fake

I still think she's a fake the inside of her hair aren't as smooth as Miku's hair

Her foot less joint can't bend at all, I'm scared I might break her if I force it to move :(

Side view: Do you notice anything wrong with her hair (look at the braid)?

A little closer...

Couldn't see the braid clearly, but can you see behind the ears?

There's a ghastly rough spot on her braid!!!! Look at the middle braid!!! and the hair doesn't fit seamlessly!!

ARGH! Look at the braid!! and behind the ear!!!

another view.. argh... I can't take this...

other side... /sob

Back view, the hole for the mount is too tight... :(

The paint job for the hair isn't so perfect... grrrr

Obviously, I'm not as happy as I expected to be when I bought Saber, when I tried to put Saber's angry face on Miku, it was too loose and Miku's face on Saber was too tight. T__T I guess I'll be sticking to my 6 month shopping ban for now... /depressed
