Majolica Majorca Perfect Automatic Eyeliner

I bought this last May when they had a sale on some cosmetics at MOA, I wanted a black liner and I've read a lot of good things about this. I currently own a gray stilla gel liner (Smudge Pot) and that's all I have for eyeliners...

I super love the packaging >_< It's so cute I didn't want to throw the plastic away. (but I did.. eventually)

Here's the liner out of the plastic cover~ It's really great that Majolica Majorca makes sure that we buy products that have never been used or tested.

Manufacturing Date is 01/11... how long is the shelf life of a liquid liner? =_= I forgot to ask when it expires...

As usual, I'm too shy to post a picture of my self testing the product. Maybe I should try swatches? What do you think? However, I'm not at all knowledgeable about make-up to do a review... I really know nothing about make up!

Speaking of not knowing anything about make up, =_= the liner isn't stupid proof!  With the brush tip, I thought the application would be similar to how you put on gel liners.

I was wrong!!!! My face and hands were an utter mess when I first tried it on! Yes, I said hands I got the liquid liner on my hands and I don't know why!

Conclusion: Liquid Eyeliner is not for newbies XD I need more practice and research!

Rant: I really can't understand why I can't use make up brushes or eyeliner pencils and sponges but when it comes to using brushes for painting, nail art and using colored pencils on paper I can easily do it... argh it's so frustrating.

I have this mantra about my hobbies: "I can do anything as long as I have the right tools"

I can't apply this to make up XD ARGH!!!!

Nail art practice: Gradients~!

I wanted to try using the other nail care products from Caronia but unfortunately I got lazy and tried doing gradients instead hahahahaha~!

Here are the products I used:
1. Caronia Kurant Twist
2. Face Shop PP409
3. Konad Special Nail Polish - White
4. Konad Image plate m57
5. Caronia Fast-Dry Top Coat
6. Caronia Kwik-Dry & Cuticle Conditioner

Well, I got to use the Cuticle Conditioner AND the Top coat ^_^ I made too many mistakes trying to do a french tip but I gave up because I keep on removing all the polish when I make a mistake XD

I think I used an awkward color for my nails... I'll probably get teased that my nails look like I started to get frostbite... Whenever I try something new and nice I get teased about it... which is partly the reason why I don't go all out when it comes to dressing up and looking pretty.

Good luck to me tom :)

Caronia Nail Care and Nail Art~

I was disappointed that my mood changing nail polish didn't last me 2 days T^T I chipped like crazy the first day I wore it and I really didn't want to take it off 'cuz I loved it so much. I really wanted to make my nail art and nail polish last longer so I bought a top coat from Caronia's Nail Care. ^_^ I didn't buy the base coat from Caronia though, I wanted to check how effective the top coat was before buying any other product >_< so I used it as a base coat. hehehehe!

6th day of my polish.. My nails are growing~!

My nail polish lasted a whole week with very little chipping.

my polish started to chip a bit at the edges
Hihihi~! I ended up buying the Base coat and the cuticle conditioner yesterday. I can't wait to try these BUT my nail polish is still intact and still presentable. I still have no designs in mind yet =_=

In addition, I also think I'm getting better at putting on nail polish but I still have a long way to go when it comes to shaping my nails...

Naughty blogger XD

I as much as I want to blog about my random stuff =_= my office internet connection is limited to just google and some not so popular websites... grrr...

So.. what have I been up to for the past few weeks?.. =_= Other than trying to adjust...trying out the things I hoarded in the mall beside my office~! My office actually has a bridge connecting to the mall~!

Anyway I went to Watson's after lunch and picked up some facial masks since I haven't tried any lately... I wanted to buy the Purederm Aloe Collagen Mask but I picked the Age Defying Collagen mask accidentaly...

It was kinda itchy like all the other sheet masks I've tried. So far the only sheet mask I loved was the Aloe Collagen mask...

This wasn't the first time I bought this rub on Whitening Mask from Montagne Jeunesse, I love products from this brand especially this mask in particular. Ever since I tried the aspirin mask, I have been obsessed about the smoothing effect of the DIY mask....

The whitening mask usually gives my baby smooth skin when I leave it overnight on my face, I haven't done it religiously as instructed so I can't say anything about the whitening effects.

I bought this Rub Me Tender Fog Peeling spray from Etude house quite a long time ago but I decided to mention it since I was talking about the aspirin mask effects...

This product also gives me baby butt smooth skin! I'm surprised that hardly anyone made a review about it. I love this product! It also smells like my cucumber melon perfume from bath and body works~!

I wish there are FREE miracle cures for skin problems... *sigh*

Mood changing nail polish~!

I finally got the polish I've wanted!! I love my sister~! She got it for me at Claire's Cosmetics when she was in LA~!

It turns Pink with heat and it's purple at room temp~!

I didn't only get the mood changing  polish but my sister got me Mood Changing Lip Gloss!!!!

The lip gloss supposedly turns from clear to pink but I haven't seen the effects yet~!

I'm sooooo HAPPY~!

The Face Shop Phytogenic Infinite Foundation in NB23

When I went to The Face Shop at Shang to buy the silver nail art pen and a make up remover the cashier gave me 2 sample packets of the Phytogenic Infinite Foundation~!  It's actually the first ever samples I ever got from a cosmetic store HAHAHAHAHA~ So many firsts this past few weeks for me...

I was finally able to test it yesterday for a movie date with my boyfriend~! And I liked it!!! I was lucky the cashier gave me my something super close to my shade or probably my exact shade since it kind of disappeared on my face while I was applying it! I was super excited when I was putting it on!

I didn't put all the contents of the sample on my face it think 1 sample sachet is good for 3-4 applications for me so I would have more time to think about buying the 35 ml one (or more time until I my first pay at my new office?).

It has SPF 20 PA++

What is PA++? Research mode..
PA ranking refers to the amount of protection the sunscreen offers from the UVA rays, since SPF just ranks protection from UVB rays. Source

 Oh I see~!!!!

Long-wearing full coverage foundation with Green Tea Extract

What's green tea extract good for? Research mode again XD.. Errr... I'm still a newbie when it comes to these things...

Apparently, Green tea is an antioxidant... which according to the google search I did, It's for Anti Aging or protecting skin from "Free Radicals" errr... Some people say green tea helped clear their skin...

I wonder... I can't resist mimicking my favorite bloggers.. pro and con alert!

Pro:
1. The color matched my skin tone .
2. I thought it made my skin feel oily... but when I used an oil blotter, I didn't get much oil considering I wore this on a really hot day.. (That's a good thing, right?).
3. Someone said I looked "blooming" and didn't notice I was wearing foundation
4. Cheaper than other foundations at 995 Php (23.03 USD)
5. It didn't turn dark on my face. I have acidic skin, I could probably guess that the green tea prevented the foundation to oxidize on my skin. I'm not sure if that's how it works though...
6. It probably has some more benefits because of the SPF and green tea hehehe~

Con:
Since I fell in love with Shu's FA, I started comparing it with the foundations I've been trying at the malls... so..

1. It didn't feel as smooth as Shu's Face Architect.

Couldn't think of anything else...

I would probably buy this instead of Shu FA because it agrees with my budget more or if my sister didn't buy me the foundation I asked her to buy (I hope she doesn't since this was the only foundation that matched my skin tone)

Konad Stamping Nail Art with Acrylic Paint

Last month, I asked a former officemate to accompany me to the shop of the suppliers of the Konad Stamping Nail Art at Harrison plaza (Malate, Manila). It actually took me 2 or 3 weeks to decide whether to buy or not~ I'm happy I did.
(Until I found a cheaper alternative XD)

I was really excited when I saw the store... initially I set a 600 php budget for the nail art stamp but I ended up spending more... =_=

I thought I only had to buy the Stamp and scraper set and image plates which were cheap on the website... the Stamp and Scraper costs 170 Php (3.94 USD) and each image plate is 208 php (4.81 USD).. Unfortunately, I had to buy the Plate Holder for 170 Php (3.94 USD) and the special polish for 180 Php (4.17 USD) as well...

If it weren't for the people in the boutique, I would've walked out with nothing...  They were all really nice ^__^ I really recommend visiting rather than buying online since they were really accommodating and they also made sure that I learned how to stamp on my nails before I left the shop hahahaha!!!

Anne, May, me and Mr. Namhoie
The special polish was too expensive I couldn't make myself use them huhuhu so as soon as I got home I experimented with the stamp set and my polishes...

SUCCESS~~~
I used a bobbie polish for the base color and a black polish from face shop... seems like my face shop nail polishes works for my stamps or any nail polish thats really pigmented... Although, I compared the special polish with my normal polishes, the special polishes are definitely better. I should've taken a picture... Maybe next time...

Back to my experiments, I did some research to see if the stamps would work with my acrylic paints but I couldn't find any blog or video on youtube. I just tested it on my own..

I finally took out my rarely used acrylic paints~ (Random thought:I can sketch or draw or draw digitally but I suck at painting).

Here's my stamp and scraper set with the m57 image plate... I didn't want to use my image plate holder because I was too lazy to clean it up after XD...

I'm using the zebra print with a black acrylic paint... I put some paint on the side of the image like how you would usually do with nail polish..

XD Scrape away~! Uhmmm I missed a spot!!!! Doesn't matter... It's an initial experiment har har har

Picked up the paint with my stamper~ Looks good right?

Here's what it looked like on my nails. The color isn't that solid... but it looks decent. I'd say Acrylic paint could be a cheap alternative for the special polish...

*sigh* A few days after this experiment, I found a stamp and scraper set at the Ellana kiosk Landmark for 99 Php (2.29 USD). I wanted to buy it to compare it with the Konad ones but a friend stopped me HAHAHAHA~!

PERSONAL: I need to get this out...

For months, I have been crying my eyes out every weekend. Most people look forward to weekends, but not me. Every week the same promise is broken and I cry every time. My friends and officemates know me as a strong person but this time I can't be strong... I want to be strong... but it's so difficult to stop my tears. I wish I can give you my situation in detail... but I would rather say what I feel... I know I may say things that I might not mean but I really need to let this out...

I'm so tired of crying...
I want to give up on everything...
I feel like I'm being punished for having even a second of happiness...
I feel like I'm going crazy...
I want to disappear... I want to die but I don't want to kill myself...
I'm too scared of the pain...
I feel like I'm all alone...
I feel frustrated...
I want to hurt myself...
I don't want to feel anymore pain...
I want to escape...

I want to be happy again...
I don't want to cry anymore...
I want to overcome this disgusting self pity I'm feeling for myself... I have to...
I feel empty...

I can promise that I won't do anything stupid... even if I wanted to hurt myself, I'm too scared to do it. I just needed to let it out...

I really hate myself for not being able to tell my friends the truth about my problems... I'm too shy... I don't want to burden any one about it... I know my friends wouldn't mind... but I just can't even if i really wanted to... In denial? Pride? Embarrassment? Cowardice?

My problem is just some normal everyday thing.. I wish I can telepathically tell people to support me even if I don't open up...

After writing all this... I feel ashamed that I thought about those things... I feel much better though.. I just really needed to let it out... I wont do anything stupid...
